Well block Repair

The life of a ladle is determined by the weakest link in the chain of refractory products. Often the weakest link is the well block.

WEERULIN has developed a high alumina-containing shotcrete for the repair of the well block. The concrete can be placed on the hot well block using common machinery. A negative mould ensures the perfect fit for the scavenger replacement. Our repair concept increases the lifespan of the ladle by up to 15 campaigns.
